A Charming Idea

half finished.
I need to stitch one more "Sweet" charm
pack together to finish my hexagon baby/small wall quilt.

I used soft flannel on the back and cross stitched all the seams.

Finally Finished

A Tisket a Tasket block #3 from
Anne at Bunny Hill Designs

The wool looks even softer before it is stitched down.

Closeup of the shamrock and penny flower.

Anne's cute bunny!

I don't know why it took me so long to finish, springtime yard work and some organizing could be it. Oh if I could just sew all day everyday!!

Looking for Spring ...

my blog and pictures look so wintery, it's been cold here in the Northeast.
Oh here it is

I finally found some pansies at Lowes, and today is the last day my kids can go snowboarding at their local mountain..... warmer temperatures must be on the way.

A Snow Storm and some Charming ideas..

Wow we had a storm today,
snow under the roof on the patio.
Those little wire fences keep 190lbs.
of 2 labs out of my gardens.
That's how sweet they are.
Sewing room window.

Snow days are nice because I get to sew a lot!!!

This is what I am going to do with my 2 "Woodland Bloom" charm packs.
I should have 4 sections like this for a nice size quilt.

I've been practicing my machine stippling and I'm feeling a little better about it.

I'm using 2 Mary E. charm packs for this beach quilt, that my husband named "Dots" and was inspired by an Idea I saw on Monica's blog, thank you Monica.

I'm using 2 "Sweet" charm packs and hand stitching hexagons backed with flannel for a baby quilt.
I am cross stitching the seams on the back, if I like the way this turns out I may make a full size quilt like this. It's a great take along project.
